KitLock KL1000 RFID Locker Lock

KitLock KL1000 RFID Locker Lock offers flexible access control for both single users (Private Function) and short-term use by multiple users (Public Function).

The lock can be easily fitted to replace an existing cam lock or installed on a new locker or cabinet where no locking device is currently fitted.

Once installed, the lock will perform up to 15,000 openings on just two AAA batteries.

Private Function:

Designed for single-user applications. Up to 50 individual MIFARE® cards can be registered to the lock, and only registered cards can unlock it.

The Master Card is used to open the lock, register new User Cards and remove existing User Cards. The Technician Card is not available in this mode.

Dedicated or existing MIFARE® cards can be used, with no need to purchase new smart cards.

Public Function:

Ideal for short-term use by multiple users. A MIFARE® smart card is presented to lock the door and the same card is used to unlock it, returning the lock to an unlocked state for the next user.

No pre-registration is required and any compatible MIFARE® card, fob or wristband can be used. This function is suitable for leisure centres, spas, gyms, hotels and other multi-occupancy environments.
