Full Description:
This lock conforms to British Standard 8621:2007, meeting the tough criteria laid down by insurance companies and the police. Locks meeting these requirements provide keyless egress at all times, allowing easy opening of an external door from the inside without the need for keys or similar devices.
Especially suitable for entrance doors in multi-residential and other buildings. The keyless lever on the inside ensures emergency escape in case of fire.
The lock is available in both 40mm and 60mm backset, making it ideal for replacing most existing front door locks, and is well-suited for panelled doors.
The main bolt automatically deadlocks into the striker when the door is closed, preventing retraction by a “credit card.”
Designed with a 20mm bolt throw for greater security and strength. A simple snib button allows the latch to be held in the withdrawn position only, making the door accessible without operating the handle.
The British Standard Egress Nightlatch is face-fitted, non-handed for both left and right-handed operation. The striker has a 3-hole fixing for additional strength and security.
Suitable for inward opening interior and exterior timber doors only. Available in brass effect, satin, and chrome effect finishes with matching external cylinders.
The external cylinder features a high-security integral cylinder pull, protecting it from drilling. Cylinder has over 30,000 cut key variations and is supplied with 3 cut keys.
Can be keyed to pass or master keyed to allow multiple doors to be accessed with the same key (contact for a quote).
All finishes meet BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 3 (96 hours) for corrosion resistance, ensuring the most robust finish for your hardware.
