Independently certified, the Berwick Inline Sprung Lever Lever is a high performance 2 star security door handle that has been expertly designed to deliver lasting protection for your door. Created to be functional and yet elegant, the handle backplate creates a barrier to protect the cylinder from an attack. When used in conjunction with the ERA 1* anti-bump cylinder, the combination meets the recommended TS 007 3* security level, to defend against an opportunist burglar.

Designed to operate a Multi Point Lock with a Euro Cylinder, Berwick’s sculptured backplate discourages any unwanted attention from mole grips, as the clever shape makes gripping the backplate difficult and removal of the external handle impossible. Within the backplate of the external handle is a hidden strengthening plate manufactured from solid forged aluminium that helps prevent the removal of the handle. The clever external backplate acts as a cylinder guard, to deny access to the cylinder preventing an attack by any would-be intruder.

Independently tested in accordance with TS 007-1:2014+A2 Corr 2 (TS007 2*) and to EN 1906:2012. The Berwick can be used on new doors or to upgrade the security on existing doors. The visible 2* TS 007 Kitemark marking on the external backplate indicates the handle’s performance and acts as a key visual deterrent to prevent any unwanted interest.

Tested to the latest version of PAS 24: 2012, the Berwick surpasses the latest security tests for high security door furniture on a new door set (with appropriate 1* anti-bump cylinder) and has been awarded Secured By Design Police Preferred Specification.

Available in both 44mm and 70mm to suit varying door thicknesses and a wide range of PVCu profiles and composite door slabs. The Berwick features a fully sprung lever with a sturdy feel that gives a consistent 90-degree lever return. High strength M6 screws fix the handle securely to the door and the colour matched screw heads give a flawless finish, even down to the smallest detail.
