Motorised Touch Bar PHTM7 – Three Point Latch

The Motorised Touch Bar PHTM7 is a three point panic exit device designed for secure, controlled entry while ensuring safe egress from inside. Compatible with digital keypads, proximity readers, and swipe card systems, the motorised mechanism allows controlled access from outside. The panic touch bar always overrides for emergency exit.

Applications:

• Single doors (timber, metal or PVCu)
• Active leaf of a pair of rebated doors

Features:

• Motorised touch bar with integrated motor and modular mechanism.
• Covered connecting rods with horizontal latching Pullman latches at top and bottom.
• Motor operation: 12–24V DC (stabilised) or 12V AC, 2 amp power supply.
• Panic function always operable from inside for safe egress.
• Optional dogging (hold-back) facility; must not be used on fire or smoke doors.

Size & Door Compatibility:

• Standard size: 840mm – suitable for doors up to 860mm wide.
• Extended size: 1170mm – for wider doors.
• Standard rods suit doors up to 2585mm high; longer rods available for doors up to 3150mm high.

Optional Extras:

• Micro-switch to monitor door status (state when ordering).
• Outside access devices for controlled entry from outside.

Supplied with strikers for timber or metal doors as standard; PVCu strikers available separately.
